HEIRLOOM CHILDREN'S PUZZLES

was created in 1995 when artist Ceal Pedersen discovered she could not find a good quality wooden jigsaw puzzle to buy for her grandson. As a result she developed the wooden jigsaw puzzles for kids that are offered today at many craft fairs and on-line.

OUR WOODEN JIGSAW PUZZLES for kids are 100% handcrafted. Ceal does all the conceptual artwork for the designs, as well as cuts ALL the puzzles.

Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces MDF sampleHer children's wooden jigsaw puzzles are made of 1/4 inch MDF board,  a non splintering composite board that makes a durable heirloom quality puzzle at a reasonable cost.

 Colored copies of Ceal's paintings/designs are glued to the surface, covered with non-toxic varnish, then cut by hand with a scroll saw into various shapes and numbers of pieces. Traditional of handcrafted items, Ceal signs the back of either JIGSAW pieces in a box or the back of a TRAY puzzle. All materials are non-toxic.

WE HOPE our children's wooden jigsaw puzzles reach many children and contribute in some small way to their education.
